Camera Vigil

I know little about politics, but of course these advertisements caught my eye:

I plan on doing a little expose on wall art in the coming days. Here is a picture I took of some on Avenida San Juan:

For those interested in these photos, donations below will help me replace my stolen camera and continue taking pictures like the one above. Click the link below:

Hello Everyone. My donations page, for my camera, and other services, is up and running. Just click and follow the information on the link “donations accepted here” on the upper right side of the page, or click on the

which I will put up with my camera vigils, etc. throughout the site.

Anything would be appreciated to get my camera back. Of course any donations for my thoughts, ideas and writing would also be highly appreciated.

Thank you all very much in advance

I have yet to write about my experience at the zoo, where you can feed the animals! and the last place where I had my camera before the stealing.

For my dearly departed camera. First attempts at setting up a site for donations failed. Moving to paypal tomorrow.

If I had a car, and it was stolen, I would settle for a bicycle, or possibly just walk, but I would still keep going. It was with this in mind that I “rented” a very cheap camera from a friend here. Hopefully, the pictures will entertain until donations and maybe even my old camera, can be afforded.

The downside of this new camera is that it does not take good pictures at night (no flash). It does take little movies.

Yesterday in pictures around the plaza in San Telmo:

Penitentiary Courtyard

Buttress

Mannequin

Gas Mask

dancer

Shoes

And I guess the only advantage of this camera are little videos like this:

For my poor stolen camera (check posts below), I will continue posting pictures from it, until it, or an equivalent is returned. Still no donation information up, but it will be up soon.

A mighty huzzah for the people responding with advice of what to do about my stolen camera. Donations will be accepted any day now. While certainly the people at Craigslist have been nice, I extend particular thanks to the responses at Buenos Aires Expats, which I wrote about some time ago. The group’s forums on the subject of my lost camera have been very nice, though it seems that the general consensus seems to be to give up.

Expect more writing to come up in the future.

Also, on that same note, BA Expats were nice enough to feature my site on their daily news
