A lesson that should be learned by all is that if one calls their blog “Superfacilmente” nothing about their trip is going to be fácil. Already I have had to face many trials and tribulations. My first flight to Atlanta Georgia was 2 hours late due to the absence of the pilots for the plane. As a consequence I read many a comic book but became increasingly more worried and of course upon landing in Georgia at 8:38 (with an 8:40 flight) found out the gate was closed and my flight was gone.
Undaunted though, I made my merry way instead to Santiago, Chile and it’s itty bitty airport housed between these giant beautiful mountains that kept the fog close around the airport. I then took a much later flight and arrived, undaunted, in Buenos Aires a mere 10 hours later than I was supposed to.
The apartment has a few amenities that are somewhat fascinating: a hot water heater which actually shows you the gas light that heats the water, a rickety spiral staircase to an upstairs bedroom and the SLOWEST internet. Our landlord actually hacked into the cable chord and then just attached an ethernet connector to it and the thing runs fast, but certainly not fast enough. Well c’est la vie.
